The Sabbath Day Is Saturday

Today, we refer to the days of the week as 'Sundaay, Monday, Tuesday,' and no longer 'the first day, the second day, the third day.' Our present-day system was developed in Rome where people decided to call the first day of the week 'Sunday,' the second day 'Monday,' the third day 'Tuesday,' and the seventh day 'Saturday.'

1) A calendar week has seven days; Sunday is the first day and Saturday is the seventh day.

2) Think about the word. "Weekend." Which day does the 'end' of the 'week' indicate?

3) Even in the dictionary, Sunday is defined as 'the first day of the week,' and Saturday as 'the seventh day of the week.'

4) The Bible also testifies that the seventh day, the Sabbath day, is Saturday.

Mark 16:9 (When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week...)

Jesus resurrected on the first day of the week. No one argues that Jesus resurrected on Sunday-the 'first day of the week'-which is why all Christians now celebrate Resurrection Day on Sunday. In the Good News Bible, this verse is written, 'After Jesus rose from death early on Sunday...'

Since the first day of the week is Sunday, what day is the seventh day? Through the Bible, we can confirm that the Sabbath day is Saturday!!

We have a duty as the children of God . That is the worship to God almighty.
God created all things for 6 days and then on 7th day God rested , blessed and made it holy and promised as the day giving blessing. (Gen2:1)And then in the time of Moses God commanded it as the 4th commandment among 10 commandments. (Ex 20:8)
The Seventh day , Sabbath day is the sign between God and us (Ex 31:13) and even in the old testament he who desecrate the sabbath is put to death.
Then what day of the week is the seventh day , Sabbath day ?
We have to find out seriously.

* Through the dictionary.
Sunday : the 1st day of the week.
Saturday : the 7th day of the week. weekend
The Sabbath day is Saturday.

* Through the bible.
(Mk 16:9) When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, ...
But as you know when Jesus Christ resurrected ? Sunday . right ?
So we can understand the first day of the week is the Sunday.
That means the seventh day is Saturday.

* The Faith of Millions
I have read the Bible from the first verse of Genesis to the last verse of Revelations , and have found no reference to the duty of sanctifying the Sunday.
The day mentioned in the Bible is not the Sunday, the first day of the week but the Saturday, the last day of the week.

Catholic church also agree that the Sabbath day in the Bible is Saturday not Sunday.
And then if you see The history of Christianity Constanine made sunday worship in 321 A.D

* Jesus Christ and his disaples kept the Sabbath day.
(Nk 4:16) He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom.
(Ac 18:4) Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.
(Ac 17:2~3) As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures .... This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ.

The day God commanded us to keep as worship day is the Saturday. Even though nowadays many people regard the sunday worship as appropriate and say to Christ " Lord , Lord " , but they can not escape God's wrath because sunday worship is Man's teaching .

(Mk 7:6) He replied, " Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written : " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."

God gave us the Sabbath day to lead us to kingdom of heaven where there is not sin and death.
So Sabbath is God's feast that must be kept .
In order to enter the kingdom of heaven we have to follow God's commandments.
Sunday worship is nothing but Man's teaching that can not give us God's blessing and salvation , eternal life.

The existence of Heavenly Mother[Ahnsahnghong,God the Mother,World Mission Society Church of God]

World Mission Society Church of God believes in God the Father Ahnsahnghong and New Jerusalem Heavenly Mother who are the Saviors in this last ages.


The existence of Heavenly Mother is written from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, 66 books of the Bible.

Even though the Bible is a book translated in most languages and which is the best seller in the world, not everyone who reads the Bible can understand its contents.

No matter what someone study the bible and publish many books, they can't fully understand it. So, they don't accept it as it is. But they preach the bible acceping it only as a myth and philosophy .

However, as it is written, God will accomplish all things in the bible. We should realize works of God which God will lead by reading the bible.

When people hear of Heavenly Mother, almost all the believers wonder and regard it as heresy. However, what we should remember is that Heavenly Mother was already written from the book of Genesis.

Gen1:26~27 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them

God himself call him 'us', plural term. That means God is not one. Then, did God write the bible by mistake? As it is written, God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man.

Isiah6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

The prophet Isaih calls God 'us' which is the plural pronoun. That's not a coincidence but God wants us to know the existence of Heavenly Mother from the Genesis.

Furthermore, if we look at the original language bible, God is written as ‘elohim’ , which means Gods.

God had already shown us that God is not one through the bible.

The New testament testifies about the Heavenly Mother as well. 

Gal 4:26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

Apostle paul, the writer of Glatians wrote about Heavenly Mother after realizing her.

Here, "Jerusarlem that is above" is the holy city, Jerusarlem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband when apostle John received revelation at Patmos island.

And Jerusarlem is the bride, the wife of the lamb in the book of revelation.(Rev21)

Heavenly Mother was in heaven but she appeared to save her children according to the prophecies of the bible in the last days.

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

Please meet Father and Mother of your soul receiving Heavenly Mother.

The meaning of Sabbath.
The Sabbath is a precious law given only to the people of God. God distinguishes His people from others and consecrates them through the Sabbath.

Ex 31:13-15 " Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This sill be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy. ......'"

The Sabbath is a definite sign for recognizing God`s people. By keeping the Sabbath, God`s people who remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy and opens the way for them to enter eternal rest. So, without keeping the Sabbath, no one can receive the bleesing of eternal life or salvation. Keeping in mind the importance of the Sabbath which is a sign between God and us, we should have fellowship with God in godliness and honor God as His people.

Passover, The sign of salvation[Ahnsahnghong, God the Mother, Heavenly Mother, World Mission Society Church of God]

The Church of God is following the teachings of Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother and is the only church in the world that celebrates the Passover of the new covenant on the fourteenth day of the first month by sacred year as was written in the Bible (Lev. 23:4).

The Passover is a feast established by God, through which disasters pass over.
In the Old testamnet times, the blood of the Passover lamb was a sign, through which God's people could
escape the disater.
Around 3,500 years ago, in the time of Moses, the disater to strike down all the firstborn came upon Egypt.
The Israelites, who were in slavery in Egypt, escaped the disater by putting the blodd of a lamb on the
sides and tops of the doorframes, following the word of God.
 
 

Exodus 12:11 - 13 "....it is the Lord's Passover. On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn....The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you ard and when I see the blood, I will pass over you...."

In This age, too, the blood of Jesus, who is the Passover Lamb, is a sign through which we can escape
disaters.

Matthew 26 : 19 - 28 "So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.....Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'"   

1 Corinthians 5:7 - 8 ".....For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival...."

The Bible warns us that the great and dreadful day of diaster will come as the result of the sins that mankind committed against God. On the prophesied day of disater, how can you escape the disaster?

2 Peter 3:6 - 7 "By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. by the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men."

Revelation 9:4  "They were told not to harm the grass of the earth...but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads."

In any age, God's people who kept the Passover were saved, being able to escape disasters under the protection of God.

Passover, the way to eternallife[Ahnsahnghong, God the Mother, Heavenly Mother, World Mission Society Church of God]

The Church of God is the only church in the world that celebrates the Passover of the new covenant on the fourteenth day of the first month by sacred year as was written in the Bible (Lev. 23:4). The Church of God can celebrate the Passover because the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, has restored the Passover that Jesus established two thousand years ago.

The Passover is one of the most important feasts that God has granted because God promised to give us the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life through the Passover.
Also, by celebrating the Passover, we can escape from all disasters. Even in the Old Testament times, there was a marked difference between the people who celebrated the Passover and the people who did not. Those who did not celebrate the Passover were always destroyed.

In other words, if we do not celebrate the Passover, we cannot have the forgiveness of our sins or eternal life, nor can we be saved from the last disasters. The Church of God, that believes in the prophecies of the Bible, celebrates the Passover,the truth of the Early Church, following the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Ex. 12:1-14 『..."The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect ...Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight...This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD's Passover...The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD?a lasting ordinance."』

The blood of the lamb became the sign of God's people, and the destroying angels passed over the Israelites' houses, where the blood had been painted. This day was called the Passover, meaning that the disaster would "pass over."

On that day, the Israelites put the lamb's blood on their doorframes, ate its roasted meat, and prepared to go on a journey. That night, as the Israelites waited, loud wailing could be heard. All of the firstborn of Egypt, including the firstborn of Pharaoh, were killed. During the night, Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and told them to leave Egypt. The Egyptians, who had suffered all kinds of plagues, wanted the Israelites to leave quickly and gave them articles of silver and gold, even clothing.

The Passover was the day when God freed the Israelites from the slavery of Egypt. This was a shadow of the things to come. In the New Testament times, the Passover is the only feast through which God's people can receive the forgiveness of their sins and can be saved from all disasters.
All men desire to have eternal life, but men cannot give it. Just as God saved the Israelites during the Exodus, only God is able to give us salvation and eternal life.
Then, how will God grant us eternal life? God gives us salvation through the blood of Christ (1 Cor. 5:7), represented, during the time of the Exodus, by the blood of the Passover lamb.

John 6:53-55 『Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink."』

Jesus promised that the bread of the Passover was His flesh, and that the wine of the Passover was His blood.

Matt. 26:17-28 『...So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover...While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."』

The reason why we want to receive the flesh and blood of Jesus, given to us through the Passover, is because Jesus, who is life, promised that when we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we will live forever.
Since Jesus said, "unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you" (John 6:53), how can we receive eternal life unless we celebrate the Passover?

Jesus called the Passover the new covenant. 

Luke 22:7-20 『Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed...When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer."...And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."』

Jesus promised to give us eternal life through the Passover of the new covenant.
The Passover was abolished at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325. At that time, the Passover completely disappeared from the world. Who on earth can have eternal life as the truth of life was abolished? Therefore, Jesus said that He would come a second time to restore the Passover.

Heb. 9:28 『...so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.』

Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the new covenant that had been abolished by Satan.

Then, who do you think Ahnsahnghong is?

Isa. 25:6-9 『On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine?the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."』 

Ahnsahnghong, who restored the Passover of the new covenant, is the Second Coming Christ, God, who appeared in accordance with all of the prophecies of the Bible.

The saints of the Early Church had cherished and celebrated the Passover of the new covenant! Christ Ahnsahnghong came in the flesh and restored the Passover so that we may be saved from the impending plagues. The Passover of the new covenant is the very gospel of Christ. 

In this last age, we need our Jerusalem Mother who has been established by Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Jesus. Let us believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, and in Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, so that we can receive eternal life.

To continue our discussion regarding hidden mysteries since the creation of the world, I would like to briefly discuss the hidden mystery, purpose, and reason for our existance upon this earth. As we previously saw, the Bible has testified about Heavenly Mother since the creation of the world. However, we never saw this amazing truth before studying at the Church of God. After realizing that not only do we have Heavenly Father, but also Heavenly Mother, we come to understand God’s divine purpose and reason in creating the family system on this earth (Romans 1:19-20), so that we may recognize that we also have a heavenly family. Which leads into the next mystery that I want to share, another amazing Biblical truth that I was shocked to find I had never learned before in all my years attending Sunday-worshipping churches.

If you believe in a religion, what do you pursue through that religion?
As a ship drifts with the current if it has no sail, so we become tossed about in the storms of life if we have no goal in life. It is the same in our life of faith: If we have no goal in our religious life, we will drift about.
From the viewpoint of Christianity, the goal of our faith in God is to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Then, why do we want to go to heaven?
It’s because the kingdom of heaven is our spiritual home where we had been before we were born in this world.

Why are we here on earth and what do we live for?
Where are we from and where are we going?

Many have made every effort to solve this problem. But they have not found the answer yet, because they’ve tried to solve it through philosophy or theology, w/o understanding the will of God. Our spirits didn’t come into existance simultaneously with the birth of our bodies, but already existed in heaven. (Genesis 2:7 & Ecclesiastes 12:7) By sinning against God, however, our spirits were clothed in the tent of the body like a prison and cast out into the earth.

We are from heaven. Our forefathers admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. Why did they say that? Because they were looking for their own country where they had been before. (Hebrews 11:13-16, John 6:38, Luke 19:10) Putting the previous verses together, we come to a conclusion that Jesus came into the world to seek and to save the lost from heaven. When we study carefully Jesus’ words we can see that we are the lost ones. (Luke 15:3-7)

Why were we born on earth?
Romans 3:10-12 & Luke 5:31-32 reveals that all of us are sinners…

but then, where did we sin?
Ezekiel 28:12-16 & Revelation 12:7-9 reveal mysteries to us about our sin in heaven and also how the enemy and his angels were also thrown to earth… proving to us that all men are sinners expelled from heaven.

Then how can we go back?
Certainly we cannot go back if we hold onto our sin. We must get rid of our sins and be forgiven by God.
Ephesians 1:7 shows us to be redeemed/forgiven is only through Christ’s blood…

but how can we receive His blood?
The Bible testifies in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John that the only way for us to receive the blood of Christ is through the Passover of the NEW COVENANT. However, this precious truth was abolished in 325 AD by Constantine during the Council of Nicea. This was the work of the enemy trying to prevent the children of God from entering back into heaven.

Would God leave the situation in this way?
Absolutely not. That is why the Bible prophesied the return of Christ in Hebrews 9:28.
As of His return, The Church of God World Mission Society is the only church to keep the NEW CONVENANT according to all its rules and regulations.
